I do not disagree that either a kitten is owed and/or the refund of a deposit. I had the closest person in my life begin to fall ill in the last 8 months then pass away in April very unexpectedly . I must admit that I do feel very badly about any problems this has caused, however,I can't change what happened or that I myself had fallen deep in grief that for a period could not see my way out of. It is only recently that I have come about to correct this situation. Her refund will be there no later than the end of August. I did send Jane an email stating she would get her deposit back. I also stated that it had nothing to do with registering this complaint. I have lost 2 deposits to other breeders and complained, only never to see one dollar refunded and they are still selling kittens like there is no tomorrow. I am refunding for it is the right thing to do and I am an honest person. If that was not the case I could have had Jane send the entire amount plus shipping and got much more money, if I was trying to be dishonest. I do feel bad about this situation but again it was beyond my control and the only thing I can do is correct it and apologize.
