Well the collie crook strikes again. I purchased three rough collies from Diane Fitzpatrick at Alfenloch collies in Hamilton Ontari Canada. Search compliant AAlfenloch collies on this sweaky wheel site. Today one of the female collies that I purchased from this kennel also broke out with mange. This the third dog of three that has come down with this skin disorder. Treatment is very difficult and expensive, to date these dogs and one other....google search "Alfenloch Pennylane hero" have not been replaced. Even though we all paid $2,000 for each puppy. Regrettably Alfenloch Pennylanes hero had to be put to sleep. Three of our dogs have required veterinary treatment and two of the three are still being treated at this time, with little improvement. We are devastated that we have been taken advantage of by this woman. This has cost us a huge expense, all three of these dogs were purchased as show quality animals and as a foundation for our kennel, most important is we love these dogs dearly and hate to see them suffering. We paid 2,000 dollars each for a total of $6,000 to Diane Fitzpatrick of Alfenloch Collies for dogs that are useless to our breeding program, and unshowable due to mange and hairloss. We are not in the business of breeding sick dogs to sell to the public like she has done to us. Diane Fitzpatrick refuses to replace these dogs even though we have a signed, dated agreement on every one of these dogs written by Diane herself claiming she will replace them at no charge. We know others that are in the same boat with this breeder. She has not offered to pay any expenses we have incurred. One of the three pups not only has mange but also requires bilateral eye surgery for Entropion! If your looking for a rough collie, please avoid yourself the heartache and headache of dealing with this unscrupulous breeder. Do not purchase from Diane Fitzpatrick at Alfenloch collies, there are lots of reputable people that do stand by their dogs.
