DO not use this company!!!!
They e-mailed me a quote, then called me. Alex assured me that they were a reputable company, and he said he had been doing this for 17 years. He also told me they were members of the Better Business Bureau, which they are not. The service was terrible, the company decieving and dishonest. My car was available for pick up in Long Beach on May 3rd 2007. I called American Auto Transport on May 16th and asked why they had not picked up my car. Tina Mills answered and told me that thy did not get the message from Matson. She said that if I never called, who know how long my car would have been sitting there. That is an unacceptable answer to say the least. She then lied to me and said that she sent a driver out to pick it up as we were speaking, she then told me that he would be in Long Beach in three days and that I would have my car by the end of the month. I called back on May 25th, again my car is still sitting at the docks accumilating docking fees. Tina Mills said that I dont need to worry about the docking fees and that they were going to pay for them, I asked why my car was still at the docks and she said that there wree no available drivers. I then asked her why she lied to me and said that she sent a driver to the docks on the 16th, she was silent for about 5 seconds, and then became very rude and sassy saying that she never guaranteed the delivery dates. She then refused to let me speak to her supervisor (John Rodriguez) when I asked. When my car finally arrived on June 3rd, I had to pay $700 instead of the $625 on the contract, and $182 docking fees.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
