My husband and I made resevations to fly to Loreto to look at property o May 18, 2006. Three days before the flight, we received a call and were told that Aero California had suspended its flights. We were told we would be informed as to date service would return. Because we had business appointments we had to reschedule with Aero Mexico to arrive at our destination on time costing extra money. We were never informed and since we live in Chicago area, we had to do our own research to check on return of airline. Each time we called customer serive we received a different story. However, most said to send copies of tickets to La Paz. We did that twice and no response. Another service rep who would not allow me to speak to a supervisor or manager, said all we could ever receive would be a voucher for another flight. This would mean flying to LAX(at least at that time), try and receive a voucher for USD534.46 after spending a fair amount of money on a round trip from Chicago to LAX. It is now May 30 over one year later and we feel very disillusioned that this unprofessional airline will ever take time to even communicate with us. They may have been suspended for unsafe equipment but they will never survive if they can't even attempt any customer service. We are soon to be retired and losing over $500 is very painful to anyone's pocket book. Who can we go to for advice or who else out there is still waiting for their refund?
