My deposit for the amount of $4,000.00 has not been refunded to me since September 24, 2007. I returned the Rv with no damages and was expecting my deposit to be refunded back into my Visa, but It has not been refunded. Jeff(the owner) has never returned my deposit, he lied to me every time he tells me the same thing. I have made several calls and even his employees (Pat) cannot help out on this one. In early November he told me that my deposit was going to be returned, and it was not. By December He came out with the excuse that he was sorry of jerking me around but he did not have the money because he was waiting on Vendors to pay him... bull and more bull. He told me that he will refund my deposit before Christmas or after or early January. That never happened. On January 24, 2008 he faxed me an receipt with the amount returned but it never appearred on my visa. He has been lying to me for two more months and assuring me that he is working with his bank to see what went wrong on the transaction for my return. I am fed up with these "business man" I think he is a fraud, Dont do any business with www.rvcentral.com, www.americanrvrentals.com or Open Road Rv because they lie to you and abuse honest customers that just want to be treated with honesty and respect. Please post this message so everyone included current customers can see the scam, fraud with this business. I have copies of all my documentation and phone log of all the times I called. I am seeking legal counsel.
