When I signed my contract with ADT, I agreed to a $9.95 a month service fee. A few days after the contract was signed, the sales rep, AnneMarie, began frantically calling me telling me that ADT could not honor the contract. She said the monthly fee needed to be increased to $12.00. I was shocked that ADT was not willing to honor a contract so decided to not continue with installation of two systems.Upon hearing that they would lose 2 potential clients the manager, Mr. Dave Mesiano, said if I would allow ADT to change the contract and increase the monthly monitoring from $9.95 to $12.00, he would give me two (2) months of free monitoring on both systems I was purchasing. I agreed.
When the first bill came for both systems that were installed, the two (2) months of free monitoring were not reflected. I called customer service and they said Mr. Mesiano did not enter the credits into the system. Next, I called Mr. Mesiano to ask him why he had not done so. He said he would take care of it right away. That was about 3 weeks ago.
Today, June 20th, 2009, I received 2 sets of bills and again no credit for the two(2) months of service that Mr. Dave Mesiano promised me. He broke his promise to issue the credit and then broke another promise when he said he'd "take care of it". He has NOT taken care of it!
Mr. Mesiano made empty promises to get me to agree to an increase in the monthly monitoring fee and now is not being true to his word.
