Hacienda Tres Rios Complaint

Bought at Hacienda Tres Rios in March of this year...
Upon return home from the resort, we found out my wife Darlene is very ill and has begun treatments. I will not elaborate on the illness for obvious personal reasons. Just know that the reasons are severe enough to need to clear any and all plans of recreation or work.
Upon hearing the news - and well within the contracts "5 day clause", I emailed Hacienda Tres Rios through Mr. Zambrano (the owner), Enrique (the salesman) and their appropriate legal department.
Once again, I would like to emphasize that I canceled within the 5 days stipulated in their words, in their contract. I even followed up with registered mail.
In their first response they told us, we gave up the right to cancel because we stayed at Sunset Lagoon. Then once that didn't fly, we were told it was past the date to cancel.
I talked to Samir the sales manager, a fellow Canadian he tells me...
Hacienda Tres Rios keep offering to refund - but only if we refinance. That is not a refund, and they are NOT honoring THEIR agreement. Opinions aside, when you make an agreement, written or verbal - it should be honored, no?
Next, Hacienda Tres Rios sent a BACK DATED contract for us to sign.
My wife is very ill.
We can no longer afford this resort right now. No matter HOW many times Hacienda Tres Rios wants to 'refinance' or try to swing another deal.
Now Mr. Zambrano is alleging slander and they will send it to the companies Legal firm and they will consider present and future monies lost as a result of my internet blogs. I have a right to free speech, just like they have an obligation to uphold their agreements without excuse, or renegotiation.
Do you not have enough of our money now sir?
How many others will you do this to?
The resort is incredible, but we can not proceed at this time.
Holidays and hotels cannot compare to having my wife with me to share it.
